New Orleans: St. Louis Cemetery 1

It’s no secret that I’ve always had a fascination with cemeteries. In many ways, they are a window into the world that our forebears lived in. As we walked around St. Louis Cemetery 1 on Christmas morning, Mike and I couldn’t help but wonder what people will think looking at our own 250 year old graves one day. Would we really want to be judged by that small plot of land? Will we care? Anyway, here are more of the pictures from our morning in the cemetery. I love some of these so much: tornado-bearing weather was rolling in and the sky was just beautiful!
